I think that it is important to offer a Passport Saturday. Most citizens are working during the week and it is sometimes a difficult task to take off work. Passport Saturday will allow you to come and take care of processing your Passport and Picture without inconveniencing yourself during the week. 

My plan is to host Record Restriction days along with the District Attorney's Office. This is important because there are citizens who cannot attain a particular job or find sufficient housing based on their criminal history. They will have the opportunity to talk with the District Attorney's to see if they are eligible to have certain convictions removed from their criminal history.

I believe that it is important to get to know the community that I serve and to let them know what services the clerk's office offers and I would like to do this by attending local community events. I would also like to revamp the current website by adding more about services offered and additionally I would like to create a Facebook and Instagram page that will keep the citizens informed on current happenings within the office. 

I would like to implement loadable cards for payments to jurors for their service to the Houston County Superior Court. This will do away with printing checks, replacing lost checks and allow them to have immediate access to the funds. 

I would like to implement a Jr. Deputy Summer non-paid Internship program for rising 11th and 12th grade high school students that will expose them to careers in local government. Students will gain hands-on experience, interviewing skills and life skills that can help to prepare them for the workforce and local government.
