MEET ANGELA ANDERSON

My name is Angela Anderson, and I am thrilled to announce my candidacy for Superior Court Clerk of Houston County.

This community has a particular place in my heart: I was born and raised in Warner Robins, and I graduated from Northside High School. I have over 20 years experience working in the Houston County criminal justice system where I began as a victim advocate in juvenile, state and superior courts. I have been a legal assistant for the District Attorney’s office, and I have worked as a judicial assistant for a Superior Court Judge since 2007. I currently serve on the Board of Directors for Family Promise and I have served for 6 years.

I am running because I understand that serving the citizens of Houston County is not dependent on whether you are a Democrat or a Republican, but rather on how someone’s hard work can benefit the community. I have a proven track record of service in Houston County, and hope to earn your vote and continue contributing to our community’s success!

The Liberty Bell award is one that the members of the Houston County Bar Association gives to non-lawyers who have made a significant contribution to the legal community.
